Position: Commissioned Officer( AIR Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT-2014))

(A)  Flying Branch: No. 15 Short Service Commission (15 SSC) Course

(B)  Technical Branch:

(1)   No. 86 Aeronautical Engineers (86 AEC) Course (Permanent Commission)

(2)   No. 58 Short Service Commission (58 SSC) Course

(C)  Ground Duty Branches:

(1)   No. 137 Ground Duty Officers’ (137 GDOC) Course (Permanent Commission)

(2)   No. 30 Short Service Commission (30 SSC) Course

Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation Degree for Flying Branch, Ground Duty Branches; Aeronautical Engg (Electronics, Mechanical) with at least 60% marks for Technical Branch.

Selection Process: Based on AFCAT test followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview. Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) based on their choice of branch/eligibility.
